Run For Cathryn
Her Story
For those of you who may not have had the pleasure of knowing Cathryn, she was a beautiful, compassionate, quick-witted, and strong young woman who passed away in October 2014 at just 19 years old, after a long illness. She was loved dearly by many family members and wonderful friends. Her impact on the community was large and her presence is greatly missed.

20th Birthday Celebration : A Virtual Run!
This year, in honor of Cathryn's 20th Birthday we are inviting you to participate in a fun challenge. Starting on Cathryn's birthday, August 5th, we are challenging YOU to walk, run, crawl, bike, or any other method of movement at least 3 miles (5k) and then post a video or picture sharing your accomplishment. If you use MapMyRun or Nike Running apps, please post your maps so we can see the great places where Cathryn is making an impact.
We encourage you to then donate to our YouCaring account (linked to the Sign-Up tab) on this website. All proceeds will go the the 2 charities explained on our page. Any particpants who raise $35 or more willl be mailed a t-shirt anywhere within the United States.
We will keep this challenge open through the month of August so everyone will have a chance to participate and/or contribute a donation. Please have fun doing this and MAKE A MEMORY!
